Sarah Webb – Cool Congregations Coordinator
Sarah first became involved with Iowa IPL when she learned about the proposed coal-fired power plant in Waterloo. She was dismayed that a state poised for leadership in renewables would think of a building new coal plants. So together with two other mothers from St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Cedar Falls who were deeply concerned for the Iowa our children will inherit, she started Cool Congregations. Cool Congregations was adopted as a program of Iowa IPL in January 2007.

Tim Fink – Executive Director
Tim Fink received a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard University in Religion and Politics. He first became interested in environmental issues as a student at Luther College, where he earned his BA in Political Science and History with a senior thesis focused on the watershed health of the Upper Iowa River. Tim has extensive political experience, including work with five political campaigns and as a legislative assistant to the Chair of the House Energy Committee for Iowa's General Assembly. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, canoeing, and pretending that he can play guitar.
